01 TECHNICAL STAFF ASSIGNED TO THE PROJECT AND SERVICE DURATIONS :
- 1 civil engineers acting as assistant control engineer ( 1 person for each 30 000 m2.)
- 1 civil engineer qualified as construction auditing engineer ( Coordinating with the assistant control engineer. At least 2 visits per week.)
- Structural design engineer (Civil engineer. Upon commencing the structural works once per weeek or when and where required.)
- 1 architect for architectural design and finishing works auditing. ( Upon commencing the finishing works at least twice per week.)
- 1 mechanical engineer for design and on site auditing of mechanical works .( Upon commencing the mechanical piping, installations etc. At least twice per week or when and where required.)
- 1 mechanical engineer as assistant control engineer (1 person for each 30 000 m2. Upon commencing the mechanical works at least 3 times per week..)
- 1 electrical engineer for design and on site auditing of electrical works ( Upon commencing of electrical works once per week at least or when and where required.)
- electrical engineer as assistant control engineer (1 person for each 30 000 m2. Upon commencing of electrical works three times per week at least or when and where required.)
Permanent presence of our construction auditing engineer and assistant control engineers shall be provided as long as the works continue and shall personally control the ongoing activities. They will work overtime when required. If the durations of activities exceed 12 hours shift engineers shall be planned and provided accordingly. Particularly for long concrete casting activities where some unavoidable human errrors or faults are questioned and remedial works thereof almost impossible and very costly.)
02. SERVICES ON PROJECT AND LICENCE PHASE
02.01. Check the soil investigation report to determine the accordance of soil examination report to the circular of Ministry of Public Works and Housing “Principals about preperation of soil and foundation examination report ‘’ which has been issued on 28.06.1993 and numbered as 393.
02.02. By throughly checking the arcihetctural drawings and calculations determine and report the conformance of design according to development plans and regulations about improvement, fire, shelter etc.
02.03. By checking the static project and calculations, the conformity of bearing structure design to ABYYHY’97 regulations and TS500, TS648, TS561, TS9964 standards, is determined and reported.
02.04. By checking mechanical installation project and calculations, the conformity of design to regulations about fire, thermal insulation, etc. is determined and reported.
02.05. By checking electrical installation project and calculations, the conformance of interior electric installment design to standards and regulations about lightning protection earthing etc. is determined and reported.
02.06. After investigation and report preperation for projects and calculations of all disciplines and soil examination report, according to criteria’s summarized above, finalization and /or correction of appointed incomplete and /or faulty parts is demanded from designers. Projects are approved and the responsibilities are shared with designers after finalization and / or correction.
02.07. All the documentation about obtaining the contruction license which should be prepared by construction auditing companies are prepared and delivered to relevant authorities.
03. SERVICES ON ROUGH CONSTRUCTION PHASE
03.01. All productions which are under construction, giving the utmost priority to the structural bearing system, are audited to provide the complete conformance according to the approved application projects, general and special technical specifications, national and / or international regulations and standards.
03.02. The control engineer shall keep a “Daily site operation book” to point out his individual studies.
03.03. The site meetings will be held weekly or biweekly. Representatives of contractor, owner ( if wants to ) and the designer when and where required will attend to these meetings.
03.04. The minutes of meeting will be arranged and issued by our firm and distributed to participants as soon as possible. In case there will be no objections to the items minuted in writing it will be deemed that the participants have agreed the content and duly signed the minutes.
03.05. The application of project is thoroughly checked to find out whether it is appropriately positioned to its architectural projects or not by the authorized survey engineer assigned by either the owner or the contractor and relevant application plans are duly signed by this person. (Constructing auditing firms do not employ survey engineers.)
03.06. The conformity of entire construction inclusive excavations, foundations, ground level, floors, roof etc. according to their relevant projects is provided by spot checks and duly reported in legal forms.
03.07. The necessary precautions for job safety and employee health are closely observed and contractors are enforced to take the compulsory legal steps thereof.
03.08. The compatibility and conformity of all input materials delivered to site to application projects, general and special specifications, wishes of owner and quality certificates are audited and documented.
03.09. Input materials of structural bearing system like; concrete, steel rebars, structural steel, bolts, nuts are sampled as per relevant standards and tested in laboratories authorized by ministry of Public Works and Housing.
03.10. Concrete forms are audited with respect to impermeability, soundness, stability and geometric conformity to relevant drawings and standards.
03.11. Rebar fixing is audited with respect to dimensions, shapes, location according to the relevant drawings.
03.12. The engineers consent on the conformity of forms and fixed rebars are audited and reported in legal forms.
03.13. Prior to concrete pouring instructions laboratory is informed and existence of a laboratory technician while concreting for controlling the temperature, workability of concrete (slump) and taking a number and type of samples which are determined by us are provided.
03.14. Concreting is carried out under continious control of our site control engineer.
03.15. The compliance of concrete delivered to site is determined by checking each receipt attached to the delivery forms brought by the transmixer driver and insitu temperature control and slump (workability) test values.
03.16. The free fall height of concrete while pumping, laying, vibrating and surface handling are inspected and observed for providing proper quality of concrete production as necessitated by the design criteria.
03.17. The conformity of concreting process to its projects is reported in legal forms.
03.18. The curing and curing conditions are thoroughly controlled and upon the prearranged duration is over striking the forms is permitted.
03.19. The control of cracks and concreting faults are made after releasing of forms. Repare works of faulty and improper parts applying an approved method and material is provided.
03.20. Curing of concrete specimens under appropriate conditions stipulated in their relevant standards in laboratory and insitu is provided.
03.21. The results of pressure tests of concrete specimens are delivered to contactor, owner and relevant administration. In the case of deficiencies in test results according to relevant standards and regulations; the stipulated verifications and / or tests as per relevant standards and regulations are applied and results are reported.
03.22. Concrete batching plant, prefabricated structural concrete element factories, steelworks production facilities etc. and other external production plants are audited for both in adequacy and conformity of products to the project requirements.
03.23. Material selection for backfills, laying, watering and compaction works are controlled and as the case necessitates these controls are supported with tests.
03.24. The compliance of water insulation materials, correct method of application and protection upon the completion are audited.
03.25. The convenient application of excavation according to excavation plans, slope inclinations, slope stabilities and shoring (if needed) are audited.
03.26. Usage of appropriate granular filter materials and/or drainage pipes with geotextile for ground water drainage system according to its project is maintained.
03.27. In structural steel manufacturing; shearing, boring, fitting, welding, installation etc. processes are audited both at site and the production facility.
03.28. The application of structural welding by certified wleders in steel structure production is provided.
03.29. Steel manufacturers are demanded to prove that the welds are correct to the project and standard requirements according to the results of the test reports of the compulsory tests on welds carried out by independent 3rd party laboratories.
03.30. Non structural infill walls , thermal and sound insulations are audited according to their projects and construction techniques.
03.31. Correct application of; plastering, both external and internal paintings, finishing coats and siding works with proper materials for sufficient quality are audited.
03.32. Door and window installations, vitrified member installations, ceramic tiling applications are audited.
03.33. The conformity to general and special technical specifications, detailed projects and technical construction methods for chimneys, roof battens, roof heat and sound isolations, air-vents and ladders is audited.
04. ON MECHANICAL INSTALLATIONS
04.01. All pipe diameters, channel dimensions, piping, inclination of the channels ; distance between channels and other structural members are controlled.
04.02. Supports and hangers of pipes, channels and equipments and the distance between these hangers and supports are audited.
04.03. Control of correct application of all mechanical connections according to their prevailing technical practices is provided.
04.04. Placement of elastic joints and compensators at necessary locations is maintained optionally at owners consent.
04.05. The convenient testing according to specifications and satisfying conditions is controlled.
04.06. Appropriate application of corrosion coat, heat and sound insulations is provided in full accordance with specifications, codes and standards and design requirements.
05. ON ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS
05.01. The correct and convenient placement of cable pipes which will be buried under concrete or plaster is provided.
05.02. Convenient placement junction boxes, keys and plugs with correct locations is provided.
05.03. Obtaining convenient depth at screeding and junction box connections, cleaning of their interiors and cable connections with clips are supplied.
05.04. Usage of cables with correct diameters, while cable furnishing, is provided.
05.05. Phase, neutral and earthing connections are getting done properly.
05.06. Controls of electrical panels and electrical device installations are done.
05.07. Complete electrical installations are tested under load carried out using proper measuring devices.
